A Record Label from Ithaca, New York

HABIT FORMING RECORDS began on March 22, 2001. In 2002, the label moved to its permanent home of Ithaca, New York. Habit Forming is a labor of love that started to put out friends' bands and grew to include bands from all over New York State and Canada. In 2022, there is a new split 7" available from Chimes of Bayonets (from Ithaca) and Personal Style (from Buffalo). An LP record from Grass Jaw, and an EP Release from Ithaca band Material Objects. Chimes is releasing a Full length on Peterwalkee Records in 2024. Crime Waves from Ithaca has join the label to put out their first CD. Click their photos to go to each Bandcamp.
